Olympic Estimate

This is an individual project. You are to pick an Olympic event that is timed or measured. The event can come from either the summer or winter games. The event must have been held at least 10 times.

Using the appropriate data, predict the winning time or measurement in the year 2020 and 2050. Your answer is to be accompanied by the spreadsheet you constructed, a graph of the winning times from the event, the best-fit line, R² value, and the necessary computations to estimate the winning times for 2020, 2050, 2100, 2150, 2200, 2250 and 2300.
